Soon to rise: Manny Pacquiao’s church in General Santos City

In a photo posted on Twitter, ABS-CBN News correspondent Jay Dayupay disclosed that boxer-congressman Manny Pacquiao is building his own church in General Santos City, South Cotabato.

Indeed, the building of this church has long been in Pacman’s plans.

In a 2013 article by Joaquin Henson in The Philippine Star, it was revealed: “Pacquiao spoke about building a temple in General Santos City on a two-hectare property he owns. The temple will be called The Word for Everyone Movement Fellowship Center and the plan is construct a facility to accommodate 1,000 to 2,000 people.”

Indeed, the tarp announcing the details of the building indicates that it is affiliated with The Word for Everyone Movement Inc. and Congressman Emmanuel “PACMAN” Pacquiao.
