The Gold Circle Awards is a yearly event recognizing the best of the best of the online hospitality industry. It is given by Agoda.com, one of Asia’s biggest hotel booking sites, and part of the Nasdaq-listed Princeline Group.

In their litany of accommodations across the world, 64 of our own made it, a huge increase from last year’s 42. The breakdown continues: 24 come from Manila, 13 from Boracay, and 13 from Cebu. The remainder comes from different tourist spots in the country including Palawan, Bohol. Batangas, Baguio, Davao, to name a few.

“These properties have shown an outstanding level of commitment to the intersection of cutting-edge technology and world-class service,” says Errol Cooke, VP for Global Hotels at Agoda.com.

Now on its 6th year, the Gold Circle Awards are presented to properties based on aggregate customer reviews, competitiveness of pricing, utilization of Agoda.com’s custom-built Yield Control system (YCS) and a deep understanding of the complexities of the online booking industry.
