A snatcher who was too slippery for his own good was nabbed in Pasig Mega Market on Tuesday morning after he stumbled in front of police hanging out in the area.
Pilipino Star Ngayon reports Aldrin Hanted was running away from Apolinario Macatangay, whose necklace he stole, when he slipped and fell in front of members of the Special Operations Group. Hanted allegedly grabbed the necklace while Macatangay was shopping. Macatangay chased after Hanted to retrieve his gold necklace, said to be worth PHP25,000.
Police were about to help Hanted up when Macatangay shouted at them to arrest the alleged thief.
