This is straight out of a B-movie nightmare.

A snake was found inside a toilet bowl in a Quezon City home last night.

The spine-tingling incident happened in St. Anthony St., Barangay (Village) Holy Spirit in the home of Diding Avila.

She said that her in-law just needed to go to the bathroom and saw something moving inside the toilet bowl. It first looked like a rat but the animal revealed its true form after water was poured into the toilet bowl, ABS-CBN News reported.

The slimy serpent was eventually caught when they put a large clear plastic bag over the toilet bowl and let it crawl out, according to GMA News. One brave soul then reached out for the plastic bag and grabbed it along with the captured reptile.

And it certainly was no rat; apparently, the snake was at least 5 feet long.

Avila’s family asked the village officers for help and the snake will be brought to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
