Sometimes it takes numbers to make us come to our senses.
“There were a total of 82,757 road accidents in Metro Manila in 2012,” reports Schatzi Quodala of Inquirer Research reports in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. The shocking data is from the Manila Development Authority’s Metro Manila Accident Reporting and Analysis System.
That means there’s an average of 227 accidents per day in the metropolis. *Now, that’s a scary number.
