They fear for their grandchildren’s safety.
“Remedios Pastor—the mother of slain race car driver Enzo Pastor—said they received an order from a family court in Makati directing them to contest a guardianship petition filed by the parents of Dalia Guerrero-Pastor for their grandsons, who are aged nine and six years old,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report noted: “Dalia has been implicated in the murder of her husband. She allegedly had an affair with the alleged mastermind in the killing, businessman Domingo Sandy de Guzman.”
Enzo’s father, Tomas, revealed, “We try our best to see the children, even for a short visit, but they shut us out and don’t return our calls and messages.”
Remedios added, “We will not allow the kids to grow in such an environment. We are afraid of the dangerous situation that if Dalia were to marry Sandy, as we have reasons to believe this possibility, the stepfather of our children might be the person who murdered their father.”

Remedios also said that they are prepared to battle it out in court, so they can have their grandsons. She stated, “Justice is always for the best interests of children.”
