Filipina celebrity Maritoni Fernandez’s sister is one of the latest victims of the controversial “cardboard justice” — an unfortunate and lawless part of the bloody all-out war against illegal drugs in the Philippines.
The British-Filipino woman, identified as Ma. Aurora Moynihan, was found lifeless at around 2:00 a.m. Sun, Sep 11, along Temple Drive in Ugong Norte, Quezon City. According to a report by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Moynihan had “multiple gunshot wounds.”
A cardboard was found on Moynihan, according to a GMA News report. The cardboard reads: “Drug pusher ng mga celebrities, kasunod na kayo!“
(Drug pushers of celebrities, you’re next!)
In several reports, authorities said Moynihan is suspected of selling party drugs like ecstasy to celebrities. Investigation is already on the way, with plans to access CCTV cameras in the area for possible leads about the unidentified assailants on board a silver Toyota Fortuner.
