This looks like a novel obstacle course challenge, but one that urbanites would rather not go through during their daily commute.

Facebook user Roy Vincent Daños shared a now-viral video on Wednesday of a malfunctioning LRT-1 train door that kept closing by itself, even as passengers tried to pass through it.

He said in his post that the “angry LRT” was much more intense than the Crocodile Dentist Biting Hand Game. If you’re not familiar with that game, it has players press a bunch of the crocodile’s teeth down until it finally chomps on someone’s hand.

Yeah, getting your body stuck in a train door is worse. Much, much worse.

When the LRT stopped at the Balintawak station, most passengers opted for a different train door to exit from as the one in front of them wouldn’t budge.

But one male passenger tried his luck and pushed the train door open. Watch how that worked out for him:

While it did open, it also closed on his way out, but he powered through it like a boss. You win this round, human.

However, when another commuter followed his example by forcefully pushing the door open, the LRT door abruptly closed on him.

After a struggle between man and machine, the passenger managed to get through it (barely):

At least he had an interesting story to tell that day?

The video had over 355,000 views and 5,500 shares as of this article’s posting. Netizens found the incident a bit funny:

Facebook user Jem Ruñez said in Filipino: “The guy was so mad at the door”

Jester Dela Cruz said: “He turned into a sandwich.”

Justito Llorca Fadriquela III said it looked like a scene from Final Destination.

Mara Ilao added: “[This is the] LRT EVERYDAY HAHAHAHA”

Other netizens didn’t find it as hilarious as some.

Kenneth Morgan asked: “Does it only have one door? You can go out the other [doors]. Or are you just too lazy to walk?”

Christopher Manalo said that he wasn’t surprised why the LRT’s train doors get busted.
