Chief Superintendent Eduardo Tinio, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director, said that they have identified some barangays as potential election “hotspots.”
They are the following: Barangays Holy Spirit, Batasan, Escopa, Marilag, Silangan, and Project 6.
“The hotspots were identified after the crime incidents from June 2015 to December 2015 were encoded into the geographic information system (GIS),” reports Thom Andrade on InterAksyon.com.
Tinio said that “more personnel, including the District Public Safety Battalion, District Special Operations Unit and District Anti-Illegal Drugs unit, would be deployed to the identified barangays.”
