Seniang is in PH, storm warning signals raised in several areas

Tropical storm Seniang made landfall over Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, on Mon, Dec 29.

The report noted: “In its 5 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said public storm warning signals have been raised in several areas.”

Signal No. 2 (with winds of 61 to 100 kilometers per hour expected in at least 24 hours) has been raised over the following areas:
Bohol
Siquijor
Surigao del Sur
Surigao del Norte
Siargao Island
Agusan del Norte
Agusan del Sur
Misamis Oriental
Camiguin

Signal No. 1 (with winds of 30-60 kph is expected in at least 36 hours) has been raised over the following areas:
Leyte
Southern Leyte
Camotes Island
Cebu
Negros Oriental
Negros Occidental
Dinagat Province
Compostela Valley
Northern part of Davao Oriental
Davao del Norte
Bukidnon
Lanao del Norte
Misamis Occidental
Zamboanga del Norte

Forecast positions:
• in 24 hours (Tue morning): 125 km North Northwest of Cagayan de Oro City.
• in 48 hours (Wed morning): 205 km Northwest of Dipolog City.
• in 72 hours (Thu morning): 75 km Southeast of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
