“Senator JV Ejercito will deliver his response to President Aquino’s State of the Nation Address on Monday, August 11, at the Senate floor,” reports Willard Cheng on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Ejercito has reportedly gotten the blessing of detained Senate Minority Leader Juan Ponce Enrile to deliver the speech.
To prepare, Ejercito has sent drafts of his speech to Senators Tito Sotto and Nancy Binay.
Ejercito explained, “We can say that this will be a minority ‘kontra-SONA.’ But if Senators Sotto and Binay would have no inputs, then it would be a privilege speech.”
The report noted that Ejercito did not bother to get the inputs anymore of his half-brother, detained Senator Jinggoy Estrada.
