Maybe the people who run the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) seem like they don’t care much because they’re not made to pay for it.
“Senator Grace Poe on Tuesday, Septermber 2, said she will push for a refund for commuters of MRT trains that stop operations,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
Poe was quoted as saying, “They promised to look into the possibility of giving refunds. I said, ‘You guys should give refunds. Do you just say, ‘Thank you’ to them when things don’t work?'”
The report noted: “Earlier this week, Poe initiated a Senate investigation into the current state of the MRT after one of its trains overshot its track last month, leaving at least 30 people injured.”
