“Senator Cynthia Villar said she is ready to face and confront businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles regarding her inclusion in the list of personalities who allegedly benefitted from the PHP10-billion pork barrel scam,” reports Manila Bulletin.
Villar said she is “fed up with reports linking her and her husband, former senator Manny Villar, to the misuse of Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).”
Vilar was quoted as saying, “We are ready to confront Napoles. I don’t know Napoles and I did not transact with her. Now, she is making public what she supposedly knows about the scam and that the names of her acquaintances or friends are not in the list, but the persons she does not know are in that list.”
