Sen. Bong Revilla accuses Malacañang of black propaganda vs. his dad

Like an overused plot line, we saw this one coming.

“The embattled Sen. Bong Revilla is accusing Malacañang of prompting pork barrel whistleblower Benhur Luy to claim that his father, former Senator Ramon Revilla, Sr., was one of the first clients of alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles,” reports Christina Mendez on Philstar.com.

Revilla asked, “Who else could be behind this but Malacañang?” He then pointed out that his 87-year-old father should be spared from the controversy.

The younger Revilla, along with Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile, are also being charged in connection with the pork barrel fund scam.

Nevertheless, the action star-turned-senator once again resorted to his latest battle cry: “I am ready, as I said, ‘I am not afraid.’ I will not be deterred… as long as I will stand for the truth. We can very well see through this—they want to cover up the issue [of meddling on Corona’s trial].”

Great. Now, pass us the chicharon.
