Some of the things you find at the post office may scare you.

“Bureau of Customs (BOC) operatives seized a mailed parcel on Thursday evening, January 8, containing 1,010 tables of  Ecstasy at the Parañaque City Post Office,” reports Eric B. Apolonio on InterAksyon.com.

Each pill reportedly has a street value of about PHP1,500, making the whole parcel worth an estimated PHP1.515-Million.

The report noted: “The parcel, intercepted on the basis of a tip received by BOC officials and mailed by a certain J. Vermolen from the Netherlands last December 9, 2014, was addressed to a certain Martin Sean S. Dueñas of BF Homes, Parañaque.”

The parcel arrived at the post office last Dec 22, 2014 and was later subjected to further physical examination when it was not claimed.

The seized Ecstasy tablets were turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
