Perhaps, there needs to be some “quality control” applied to in the recruitment, training, and hiring of security guards.
“At around 6:58am on Thursday, June 26, security guards Dante Bacalan and Allan Quides, both employed by the Solaiman security agency where about to change shifts guarding the Urban Bank at the corner of Durban Street and Makati Avenue in Barangay Poblacion when the shooting happened,” reports Mike Frialde on Philstar.com.
According to Senior Superintendent Manuel Lukban, Makati police chief, Bacalan drew his service .38 caliber revolver and fired at Quides after they had an argument. Quides, who was hit in the chest, died on the spot.
Police arrested Bacalan and recovered the .38 caliber revolver from him. Bacalan is now detained at the Makati Police headquarters.
