Apparently, it’s not advisable to joke at the expense of drunk dudes with anger management issues.
“Roger Palmes was drunk when he arrived before midnight on Saturday, Feb 22, at the boarding house in San Juan City where his fellow security guards Domingo Fernandez, Norwell Pascual, and Carlo dela Rosa also resided,” reports Non Alquitran in The Philippine Star.
Palmes saw that Fernandez, Pascual, and Dela Rosa were drinking liquor in their rented room. When Palmes removed his shoes, the three allegedly covered their noses because of the stench from his feet and shoes.
Fernandez poked fun at Palmes. Dela Rosa tried to intervene. At this point, Palmes was said to have pulled out a fan knife. He stabbed Fernandez twice in the neck and fled.
Fernandez was rushed to the San Juan Medical Center.
Police are now looking for Palmes.
