The nightmare continues.
Just recently, several people filed a syndicated estafa complaint has against the executives of One Dream Global Marketing Inc. over the alleged PHP3-billion investment scam. One Dream’s offices were promptly closed.

The complainant, who were investors in the said company, sought the help of the the Department of Justice (DOJ) to go after One Dream owner Arnel Gacer, vice president Jobelle de Guzman, and other officers identified as Ariel Gacer, Richard Ramos, Jay-Ar de Guzman, Marlon de Guzman, Judith Itoh, Jun de Guzman, Lui de Guzman, Linda de Guzman, and Joel de Guzman.
According to the complainants, the company used a system profit scheme in recruiting investors. Investors were required to put in PHP888 with the promise of a “pay-out” of PHP1,300 after four days.
In the course of the investigation, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) discovered an “orientation video” wherein Gacer gives a speech about the company. Later, he shows stacks of cash to the audience, his fellow Bicolanos in Naga City.
Needless to say, that was all smoke and mirrors. To date, 41 One Dream investors have given testimonies about their nightmare. —from an ANC report
