When you think of other plane-related mishaps, this one is easy to deal with.
“On Tuesday night, August 5, a Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) passenger aircraft got stuck at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 after it overshot the runway,” reports dzMM correspondent Henry Atuelan on ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Deputy Director Rodante Joya, Saudia Flight 871 was about to take off when the incident happened so it’s nose area and front wheel got stuck on the soft ground.
Joya said that “the bad weather may have caused the pilot to miscalculate the take-off.”
Nobody was injured, but the miscalculation caused air traffic and flight delays at NAIA.
