This just in: Metro Manila Pride March 2013 is a-happening on Saturday from 3pm to 7pm.
“The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender & Queer community is no stranger to the need to rise up and show strength in the face of challenges. Our diversity is part of what makes us strong,” states the Metro Manila Pride March official Facebook page.
“On 7 December 2013, Saturday, as we walk the streets of Malate, we proudly celebrate the strength that the community has continuously shown in fighting for equal rights, as well as the strength that we have shown as a nation in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Yolanda.”
REGISTRATION: 1pm-2:30pm at Remedios Circle
PARADE: 3pm-5pm. From From Remedios Circle, the march goes to Roxas Boulevard, Pedro Gil Street, Taft Avenue, Quirino Avenue, Leveriza Street, and stops at Nakpil cor Maria Orosa Streets.

DONATIONS FOR YOLANDA SURVIVORS: Cash and kind accepted. Reps from Amnesty International will be on hand to receive them.
