Looks like some people are about to get fried.
“On Friday, April 25, the Sandiganbayan issued hold departure orders (HDOs) against former chief justice Renato Corona and former Ilocos Sur governor Chavit Singson,” reports Philstar.com.
The HDOs were issued to ensure Corona and Singson’s appearance in court for their cases.
Corona has been charged with for his failure to diclose the contents of his SALN back when he was in the Supreme Court and the alleged inconsistencies in the payments of taxes.
Singson, on the other hand, has been charged for the malversation of funds, an offense he allegedly did in 2001.
