Er, nobody wants to be a cop in San Juan City?
“According to Senior Supt. Joselito M. Daniel, San Juan City police chief, San Juan Police needs 700 new policemen to increase police visibility around the city, but since the job openings were announced last March, only two applicants have applied so far,” reports Manila Bulletin.
Daniel is obviously lamenting the lack of manpower, which is one of the main problems of the city.
The report noted: “The ideal ratio is one policeman for every 500 individuals, but in San Juan, it is currently one to 1,100 people.”
