There’s a rumor going around that former Senator Manny Villar will be Vice President Jejomar Binay’s running mate in the 2016 polls.
“However, when asked to comment on the rumor, Binay said he couldn’t identify his possible running mate yet,” reports JC Bello Ruiz in Manila Bulletin.
The report said that Binay only chuckled as he said, “Secret.”
But Binay said he already has some definite picks for his Senate slate: Buhay party-list Rep. Lito Atienza, Senator Tito Sotto, and Caloocan Rep. Sherwin Gatchalian.
Meanwhile, the report added that “Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao and Senator Ralph Recto” are on Binay’s “wishlist.”
