There may not be too many people outside his family who remember him in his lucid state. Heck, the public only hears about this Padilla when he does something like this.
“On Saturday night, Mar 22, former actor Royette Padilla—brother of actors Robin Padilla and BB Gnadanghari, as well as the uncle of matinee idol Daniel Padilla—got arrested for allegedly firing his gun at his neighbor’s house in Clark Freeport Zone,” reports Inquirer Central Luzon on Inquirer.net.
According to complainants Efren David, 64, and Evelyn Bernardo, 34, they and their two kids (aged 11 and 8) and a housemate were in their house on Pasak Street in Redwood Villas in the free port when Padilla showed up outside. They said he appeared to be drunk. Naturally, his neighbors said they refused to talk to him while he appeared to inebriated.
That may have set off Padilla, who even told Bernarddo that he would place her in a sack. He then proceeded to fire at the house.
Once she recovered a bit from the shock, Bernardo said she called Clark Development Corp. (CDC) to report the incident. When personnel of the CDC’s public safety department arrived, they saw Padilla sitting in front of his house. However, they didn’t find the gun that he allegedly fired. But, of course, he’ll still be charged with grave threat.
