On Thu, June 2, a road accident involving multiple vehicles along C5 and Ortigas Avenue in Pasig City has caused horrible traffic build-up. As of 4:20pm, traffic was at a standstill in the area.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported that the crash happened when a 14-wheeler truck went out of control and swerved through the center island. It plowed through at least 11 other vehicles going through the flyover’s northbound lane. At leats five people were reported injured.
As of 5:10pm, the tailend of the traffic was already at SM Aura northbound.
