Robbers punched a hole into a roof of a Chinese restaurant in Quezon City on the wee hours of Saturday morning and stole nearly PHP250,000, according to police.
Investigators says the owners of Hanobe Asian Cuisine on Granada Street in Cubao discovered the break-in Saturday morning. Upon checking their things, the staff discovered the restaurant’s cashbox containing the earnings worth PHP248,000 and a tablet computer worth PHP6,000 were stolen.
In Scout Borromeo, also in Quezon City, the Nation Bar and Grill on Scout Borromeo was also ransacked by burglars who also took away the bar’s closed circuit television system. Aside from the CCTV system worth PHP20,000, the bar also lost PHP80,000 worth television set and three microphones worth PHP6,000.
