Heck, anyone would be shocked.
“Robert Bruselas, 43, who is suspected to be mentally-ill startled rescue workers when, while they were trying to retrieve him from being slumped on an electric post in Malate, Manila,” reports Itchie G. Cabayan on Journal Online.
The rescue workers thought Bruselas was already dead, so imagine their shock when he suddenly moved and shouted, “Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!”
The report noted: “Witnesses say Bruselas climbed up the said post in front of the Ramon Magsaysay Foundation building on M.H. del Pilar Street around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10. He then slumped over the post.”
Passers-by were alarmed when they saw that Bruselas was not moving. So, they called a rescue team to the scene.
The report revealed that Bruselas was brought down at around 4pm. When he was examined by rescue workers, they saw that he had burns in the chest, legs, and arms. They said Bruselas must have touched a grounded power line.
He was brought to the nearest hospital for treatment and examination.
