Rep. Edgar Erice claims Binay camp spawned ‘Oplan Maligno’

How about Oplan Somebody Please Make Them Stop?

“If the camp of Vice President Jejomar Binay believes that there’s such a thing as Oplan Stop Nognog in 2016, then Binay’s critics claim they have a counterplot dubbed Oplan Maligno,” reports ANC.

The report revealed that Liberal Party (LP) member and Caloocan Representative Edgar Erice recently “bared an alleged plot — dubbed Oplan Maligno — meant to divert the public’s attention from the corruption allegations being hurled at Vice President Jejomar Binay.”

Erice pointed out that “the plot was hatched by the camp of the vice president soon after Pulse Asia released its survey showing that the number of Filipinos who would vote for Binay as president dropped from 41% last June to 31% in September.”

However, United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) interim president Toby Tiangco, said that Erice must have been looking in the mirror when he thought about Oplan Maligno.

Tiangco said, “Mr. Erice, stop looking at the mirror. I’m sure he thought about that when he saw himself in the mirror. The question he has to answer is why does he keep talking, but up to now the LP is not even appointing him as spokesperson.”
