On Wednesday, Mar 26, the National Bureau of Investigation, upon the request of the victim’s family, exhumed the remains of 15-year-old Angelo Repuela. He will finally be laid to rest in his hometown, Barangay Alpaco, Naga City on Saturday, Mar 29.
Repuela’s bones were discovered in the home of Casiano Apduhan Jr. in Barangay Buanoy, Balamban town. Apduhan is tagged as a cult leader.
“In 2012, when Apduhan frequently visited Barangay Alpuco, he was able to recruit Remegia and Terio, the parents of Angelo. Fifty other families also joined the cult, but they all decided to quit when they learned about Angelo’s death,” reports Junrey Nadela on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report explained: “Repuela was allegedly killed by Apduhan in 2012. A murder case against Apduhan will be filed at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office.”
