If you’ve read “Fifty Shades of Grey,” then you’re familiar with the Red Room of Pain. Now, you don’t have to just imagine it because you can actually go to one, thanks to local hotel operator Victoria Court. It’s called the “Red Room” and it’s supposed to transport you to a different reality and make you feel like characters from the popular book, which has been labeled as “mommy porn.”
If “Fifty Shades of Grey” isn’t your cup of tea, don’t fret because Victoria Court has other themed rooms inspired by movies like “Austinn Powers,” “X-Men,” “The Matrix,” “Moulin Rouge,” “The Dark Knight,” “Thor,” “Sex and the City,” and the James Bond flicks.
There are other themed rooms that are not inspired by movies, like “Embassy,” which was made to resemble the club in Taguig (which has been closed and reconceptualized); plus the “Oval Office,” which was created, thanks to the affair of former US President Bill Clinton and his White House intern Monica Lewinsky, according to ABS-CBN News.
