Pinoys on Facebook have been posting about the end of the world and the role of Korean superstar Psy and his hit song “Gangnam Style.”
There is an article from Huffington Post UK about it, explaining that the world is going to end on Dec. 21, 2012, supported by a prediction that The Nostradamus supposedly made in 1503. “From the calm morning, the end will come… When of the dancing horse the number of circles will be 9.” So how is Psy part of all this?
First, the name Psy supposedly translates to “The Land of the Morning Calm” if you Wikipedia Korea it.
Second, the famous dance step of Psy in the video is very dancing horse-y.
Third, the official “Gangnam Style” video almost has 1 billion hits. And 1 billion has nine zeros.
OMG.
Apart from the Huffington story, there is also a video enumerating all the predictions of Nostradamus that did come true. It also talks about the same end of the world prediction tackled in the Huffington story, but says that it was made in 1555. It enumerates other matches
The video says: “The calm morning represents the eastern ideology, the Korean mindfulness. In addition to this Nostradamus also predicted that the yellow race will rule the world and we can look at Psy’s popularity as cultural domination over the western civilization. In addition, [it] is suggesting that this is a non-violent unharmful emergence and will be embraced and adored by people. The evil that is enticing and looks cool will bend people’s mind with contagious behavior. We’re talking about the simple and catchy dance the one that resembles the riding the horse movements.”
