You have to give it to the netizens. After Manny Pacquiao lost to Juan Manuel Marquez, it didn’t take long before netheads were able to create now-viral terms like “Pacquiao-ing” and “Plankquiao,” obviously inspired by his KO position. Several memes have also surfaced. Even Justin Bieber has posted a couple of them on his Instagram account (it’s not confirmed, however, whether he created them himself or just reposted them from somewhere else).
In one photo, Pacquiao’s KO position is Photoshopped next to Michael Jackson doing his signature “lean” dance move.
In another, a worried-looking Simba of “The Lion King” looks like he’s trying to wake up Pacquiao. The caption says “Dad wake up.”
Expectedly, a lot of people are offended.
