Don’t take my word for it because I haven’t really tried it myself.
But that is the claim of the newest smartphone brand in town – CloudFone, which was recently launched in Prive Luxury Club.
One cool CloudFone model is the Thrill 430x, which is powered by the Android OS. Its best feature, of course, is that it has a battery life that supposedly lasts up to three times longer than your regular smartphone.
It also has a 4.3” IPS QHD Capacitive Touchscreen while running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, an 8MP AF camera with dual LED flash, and front camera, Snapdragon 1.2GHz Dual Core Processor, and a Polymer 4160mAh battery.
“The CloudFone Thrill 430x is our humble attempt to enable Filipino consumers to diversify and broaden their lifestyles beyond what they’ve been accustomed to in the past,” said Yu. “We are pushing the boundaries as far as technology goes because we believe that the Filipino deserves no less than the best.”
At the launch, actor and singer Xian Lim was introduced as the brand ambassador. He shared how he was able to enjoy the long battery life of his CloudFone 430x when he brought it with him to Batangas. He didn’t have a charger but he was able to use it for Twitter and Instagram for four whole days.
Other celebs dropped by the event, all of them sharing their nice experience with CloudFone. Actress/blogger Saab Magalona said that she now no longer worries about bringing a charger. Fashion designer/blogger Laureen Uy agreed with Saab, and added that she no longer has to charge her phone twice – or even thrice – a day. Tin Patrimonio is also one happy and satisfied CloudFone user. She shared why she needs a phone with a long battery life: she tweets and takes photos a lot.
I am not convinced (yet) but I am definitely intrigued.
