A site for Philippine-based startups

There is no denying how local startups have been on the rise lately. The creation of Startups.PH is very timely then. Featured in the Asian tech site e27, Startups.PH “aims to provide users, potential investors and partners easy access to Philippine-based startups through a simple portal.”

Launching today, the new portal has two dozens of startups at present, but startup founders are very welcome to create their own profiles by getting in touch with the developer, Jason Torres of Proudcloud, who is screening submissions on his own.

Another site for startups is Represent.PH, a “map-based list of startups,” by Proudcloud founder Jay Fajardo. While Startups.PH is a one-stop-shop, this one offers a geographical perspective of startups in the Philippines.
