Recto reportedly told reporters, “Walang plano si Vilma na tumakbo sa 2016 na alam ko. Palagay ko gusto din niyang gumawa ng bagong pelikula dahil nakapaglingkod na rin siya ng mahabang panahon sa aming lalawigan ng Batangas (I know of no plans by Vilma to run in 2016. By then, I thin she’d want to do more movies because she has served Batangas for such a long time).”
