A cloudy, overcast sky will continue to prevail over Metro Manila and nearby areas, with occasional heavy rains and thunderstorms in the afternoon, according to the state weather bureau. In its weather outlook, the Pagasa says the weather pattern will probably last throughout this week. Weather observer Ben Oris tells Inquirer.net that downpours may happen in the afternoon or evening. The rains on Monday were brought about by the southwest monsoon, which was enhanced by the Typhoon Odette (international name Pabuk), which battered Central Luzon and Extreme Northern Luzon before heading to China.
