What a way to spend her time off City Hall.

“The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) antidrugs division raided on Tuesday night a building owned by a former city councilor in Sampaloc, Manila, which was allegedly being used for drugs and other illegal activities,” the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported on Thursday.

NBI operatives seized an undertermined amount of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and high-powered firearms at D and G Building along Prudencio Street, Sampaloc, said Ross Galicia of the bureau’s Reaction Arrest and Interdiction Division.

The official said upon checking the listing of the building, authorities discovered that its owner was Guia Castro, a former city councilor. She was being tracked down so she could shed light into the incident.
