Quiapo bling may be dangerous to your health

Wearing bling in Quiapo may be dangerous—and it turns out wearing bling from there is equally dangerous as well. Yes, folks, the EcoWaste Coalition has discovered more toxic things that we should ditch ASAP.

“In a statement, the group revealed that traces of cadmium were found in 50 samples of bracelets, brooches, earrings, hair clips and necklaces bought from shops on Evangelista and Villalobos Streets,” reports Maricar B. Brizuela in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. That means these kikay implements may cause cancer.

You’ll have to get your bling fix in some other way, then.
