Feeling anxious to leave your home even if your pet is under the weather? Here’s good news for fur-parents: the Quezon City government announced last week that it has launched free teleconsulting services for family fur-members.
“May sakit o karamdaman ba ang inyong alagang aso’t pusa? (Does your cat or dog have an illness or condition?),” the city’s veterinary department posted on Facebook.
The page also posted links to its free anti-rabies vaccination guidelines, as well as their FAQs.
Quezon City has clearly been upping its animal game: in November, officials converted the city’s once-deathly pound into an animal care and adoption center for stray cats and dogs.
The vet department offers free teleconsulting services from Monday to Friday between 8am to 3pm. Owners may message the Quezon City Veterinary Department’s Facebook page or call at 9884242 loc 8036.
