Quezon City Hall hosts four-day book fair

Here’s one for the books.

The Quezon City government is inviting bookworms to a four-day book fair at City Hall starting Mon, Oct 27.

“The book fair is one of the events marking the city’s 75th founding anniversary, will also give students a chance to browse through the collection of books of the Quezon City Library and Information Center and the National Book Development Board,” reports Philippine Daily Inquirer.

The open library has been set up at the city hall lobby and pathway.

The report revealed that “local government officials, including Mayor Herbert Bautista, Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte and several councilors, will lead storytelling sessions for daycare students throughout the four-day event.”

The report added that “the book fair will also feature a mascot parade, film showing, and a chance for locals to go on board the city’s mobile library.”
