QCPD confiscates shabu worth P250 million

The Quezon City Police District confiscated as much as 50 kilograms of shabu, worth an estimated P250 million on the street, in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Manresa early Tuesday morning.

The arrest was made by the QCPD Anti-Drugs Unit and Scene of the Crime Operatives according to a DZMM report. The shabu, packed in 40 plastic bags, was confiscated from Chinese nationals Mark Hue and Honorato Lo Pontigo, and Filipinos James Rosales and Crisologo Puzon.

According to the report, the police had been watching the four suspects for two months before making the arrest.

The arrest, said to have resulted in the most shabu confiscated in a buy-bust operation in the Philippines, also netted a Mitsubishi Lancer and Honda Civic that the alleged drug dealers used.
