On Tue, Feb 23, Rose Pulinar-Planas and her husband, Eugenio, were drinking at their home in Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City.
Suddenly, the couple got into an argument. Rose managed to get hold of a sharp object and stabbed Eugenio, who still put up a fight despite his wounds.
“The couple’s daughter, Rose Jane, was in her room when she allegedly heard her mother shouting for help. She told police she saw her father, bleeding and trying to choke her mother,” reports Romina Cabrera in The Philippine Star.
Rose Jane screamed for help. Her grandfather came running and cops were soon called to the scene.
Eugenio’s father, Pastor, rushed him to the Quezon City General Hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival. Rose is now facing parricide charges.
