Quezon City residents will be crossing their fingers over this.
“The councilors On Monday, the Quezon City Council Feb 24, approved on third and final reading a resolution requesting the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to establish an office within the City Hall compound,” reports the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
They offered the second floor of the new Civil Registry Building as a possible site of the satellite office.
The report added that “the DFA already maintains one field office within the city, at Ali Mall in Cubao.” The DFA outlet is located on the mall’s second floor, the office accepts new passport applications, as well as the renewal and replacement of lost and expired passports from Monday to Saturday.
