A reticulated python was each found in the nearby cities of Malabon and Navotas, according to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Metro Manila.

The DENR said that the Metropolitan Enforcement Office-North (MEO-North) retrieved a total of two reticulated pythons (Malayopython reticulatus), whose presence was first alerted by officials of Barangay Tonsuya in Malabon City and Barangay Navotas North Bay Boulevard-South (NBBS).

The snakes were immediately put under the care of the Wildlife Rescue Center at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center in Quezon City, where they will be kept until they can be released back to the wild.
