The 30-year-old “skateboard guy” tugged at heartstrings because of his enthusiasm to fulfill his civic duty on election day. According to Inquirer News, Niño Aguirre also refused to be carried up to the polling precinct. Such was his determination and resolve that Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas II asked for his personal details and said he will personally pay for Aguirre’s wheelchair.
