Pump prices inched higher Tuesday as Petron Corp. and Pilipinas Shell raised the pump prices on gasoline products by P0.35 per liter and diesel by P.025 per liter.
Petron said in a Sun Star Online report that the price hike “reflects movements in the international oil market.” Independent player PTT Philippines also raised prices along with the two oil giants.
On May 14, oil firms raised pump prices by P0.45 a liter on gasoline and P0.60 a liter on diesel. The price of kerosene was also raised by P0.50 a liter.
