This is understandable.

“President Noynoy Aquino has registered an all time low in trust and approval ratings since assuming office in 2010 in the aftermath of the Mamasapano massacre that left 44 police commandos dead last Jan. 25 in Mamasapano, Maguindanao,” reports Hannah Torregoza in Tempo.

A Pulse Asia survey conducted on 1,200 adult respondents from Mar 1 to 7 showed that Aquino’s approval rating of 59% last Nov plummeted to 38% in this month.

Meanwhile, Aquino’s trust rating plunged to 36% this month from 56% last Nov.

The report noted: “In the survey the number of respondents who expressed disapproval towards Aquino skyrocketed to 23% this month from 11% last November. Those who did not trust Aquino, also increased to 27% this month from 13% four months ago.”

The Pulse Asia poll has plus-or-minus 6% margin of error.
