There’s no shortcut to dropping extra pounds, but people who don’t want to sweat it out often resort to taking some so-called “slimming aids.”
“According to the EcoWaste Coalition, total of 36 unregistered slimming products are sold without the authority from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Metro Manila,” reports Jonathan M. Hicap in Manila Bulletin.
EcoWaste Coalition pointed out that the dubious products were sold in shopping mall stalls in Muntinlupa, Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Mandaluyong, Manila, Pasay, and Quezon City.
