Who would’ve thought that “The Punisher” would beat them all?

The controversial Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte topped Time Magazine’s list of most influential people, featuring political leaders and cultural figures from different parts of the world, including Donald Trump and Mark Zuckerberg.

Duterte got 5 percent of the total “yes” votes in the online poll, which asked participants which personalities should be included in the annual list of the world’s most influential people. The poll closed Sunday night.

Other world leaders who made it are Russian president Vladimir Putin, with 3% of the “yes” vote, and Canadian president Justin Trudeau, also with 3%.

The tough-talking president gained international attention for making lewd remarks against former US President Barack Obama and the Catholic leader Pope Francis.

Dubbed as “The Punisher,” Duterte was featured on the cover of Time in May last year.

Time editors will officially release the Time 100 list on April 20.
