A pregnant woman was arrested after she caused chaos at a bar along CM Recto Avenue in Manila.
A video taken using a cellphone shows the woman, who is five months pregnant, confronting the bar’s employees and accusing them of hiding her boyfriend. In the past, the woman’s boyfriend had, indeed, hidden at the bar. However, in this instance he wasn’t there.
The pregnant woman later claimed that the bar’s employees dragged her out and kicked her. The bar manager denied the allegation and said he was confident that a medical exam would prove that they didn’t maul the pregnant woman.
AN ABS-CBN News report noted that the pregnant woman didn’t have any injuries or wounds. She was also quite energetic when she was interviewed by the news crew.
The bar manager added that the pregnant woman actually had male companions waiting for her outside the bar. He said they were the ones who attacked him, while the pregnant woman attempted to steal his gold necklace. The bar manager is determined to file a physical injury case against the pregnant woman.
